Prevent Ramp Spillage

You can prevent ramp fluid spillage with a simple service coupling. AIRLINX introduces a newly designed self-sealing lavatory fill/flush coupling. After use, the coupling can be disconnected from the aircraft without shutting off flow to the fill hose. Upon disconnection of the coupling, the integral poppet automatically closes preventing the pressurized line from spilling blue fluid onto the ramp. Even after pressure is shut-off at the source, the residual fluid remaining in the hose will not leak as the spring loaded poppet seals the line from discharging any fluid. The poppet is pressure activated only when the coupling is attached to the 1 inch aircraft service nipple.
